FOX Carolina caught up with former Panthers cornerback Josh Norman about his falling out with the Carolina Panthers.
After the Greenwood native refused to sign his franchise tag offer, the Panthers rescinded it.
Norman subsequently signed a free agent deal with Washington.
Asked what more he could have done to earn a long term deal with Carolina, Norman said he gave it his all.
“I searched and I searched so hard, to look and find what I could have done more. At the end of the day? Nothing.” Norman said.
“I gave it my all, I gave it everything that I had in me. and if that wasn’t good enough, then someone else saw that it was. At the end of the day, that’s how I’m looking at it, that’s my approach that I’m taking. The numbers didn’t work out the way they’re supposed to, oh well. At the end of the day, I’m there and I’m fighting hard for my teammates. But you’ve got to want me just as bad as I want you.”
